As part of a series of construction projects, BMW Manufacturing Co. recently completed the transformation of the former TNS Mills building into the new BMW Parts Logistics Center (PLC). The location is significantly closer to the plant than the previous warehousing center and allows for a much quicker delivery of production-critical parts. The proximity of the new site is also seen as an environmental benefit as it greatly reduces the amount of fuel needed as well as the exhaust emissions produced in the transportation of parts.
