One of the most striking features at the plant is the Zentrum, a visitors center and museum that communicates BMW's heritage of engineering excellence, innovation and commitment to social responsibility. From the 1930 Dixi to the Z3 roadster driven by James Bond to concept cars for a changing world, visitors experience BMW's heritage – a tradition that includes landmark aircraft engines, legendary motorcycles and innovative designs.

Within its 28,000 square feet, the Zentrum captures the passions of BMW: its technological innovations, environmental concerns and commitment to quality. Four separate but integrated galleries give visitors a view of BMW's contributions in engineering, environmental quality, manufacturing excellence and cultural enrichment.

The Zentrum is a bridge between BMW and the community, serving as a site for meetings and conferences on economic development, tourism, the arts, lifestyle and education as well as the automobile industry.
